Found a better way to handle large tempered glass panels

For years I just used two guys and a lot of muscle to move big pieces, which was risky and slow. After a near-drop on a job in Austin last fall, I bought a panel lifter from a brand called Lift-A-Panel. It clamps onto the glass and lets one person control the whole move with a hand crank. Has anyone else tried a mechanical lifter for big commercial jobs?

Tell me about it, @noah808. I guess my brain needs a real scare to finally make a smart choice. I was riding that "it won't happen to me" wave for way too long. That close call was the wake-up call I couldn't ignore, you know? Now I'm just hoping my luck holds out until the thing actually gets here.
