They just last" makes it sound like a sure thing. I've seen plenty of points fail early, even on personal projects. What kind of conditions are we talking about here?

But that's the thing, you have to use them right. Mary_Schmidt probably followed the basic rules, like keeping them dry and clean. Do that, and they really do hold up for years, no joke.
