I spent a week and $200 trying to document a time skip that wasn't there
About six months back, I was sure the clock on my microwave was jumping ahead by exactly 47 minutes every few days. I bought a cheap security camera, pointed it at the thing, and logged the times in a notebook. I even checked the power grid reports for my town. After all that, I found the real glitch: my cat learned how to step on the 'add minute' button while trying to get to the top of the fridge. The time and money feel pretty silly now. Has anyone else had a 'paranormal' event turn out to be a pet with a new hobby?

Your cat basically ran a science experiment on you (and billed you for it).

Wait, @ruby_murphy, you're saying the cat actually sent a bill? That's the part that gets me. I could see the experiment but not the paperwork. My cat would never be that organized.
