Ramp vs. lift debate really hit me last month at a local event

Didn't someone just post a photo of a broken-down rental truck yesterday?

Update: A harsh review on my old AI art generator project made me rethink everything

Yeah the "quality over quantity" part really hits home. I've been down that road myself where I loaded up on cheap sensors thinking more coverage would save me headaches, just ended up ignoring half the alerts. Trimming back to just the useful ones made everything actually work like it should.

My uncle said to stop watering my fiddle leaf fig so much

Right? The whole "ignore them and they thrive" thing is like my one weird parenting skill that actually works lmao. I've got a succulent that's been on the same shelf for two years looking exactly the same even though I probably water it like once every three months. But then I'll accidentally breathe on a fern wrong and it'll just give up on life. It's honestly kinder to some plants to just neglect them a little.

Shoutout to the old guy at the Spokane fair who told me to keep a spare hoof knife in my apron pocket.

willow244 nailed it with that "small things you don't appreciate until you really need it" line. I had my main hoof knife snap clean in half during a tough trim on a draft horse last fall, and if I hadn't listened to the same kind of advice from an old timer at a clinic, I would have been completely stuck. The spare saved my whole afternoon, and I was able to finish the job without having to pack up and drive 45 minutes to the nearest feed store. It's funny how carrying an extra five ounces around in your apron can feel like a nuisance until it becomes the only reason you're not stranded. That old guy knew what he was talking about, plain and simple.

Warning: The new cafe in Springfield put cinnamon in my espresso without asking

Think we're losing the basic respect of just asking first before messing with people's orders.
