My friend pointed out a weird detail I kept getting wrong in my own story
I was telling him about seeing a blue car at the same intersection three days in a row, and he said, 'But yesterday you said it was a truck.' I checked my own notes... and he was right. I'd changed a key detail without even noticing. Has that ever happened to anyone, where your own memory of an event just... shifts?

Yeah memory just does that. I once swore my old couch was green but a photo proved it was brown.

My whole life I thought my grandma's car was blue, @hall.charles.

Photo proof is the worst. My brain will die on a hill of wrong colors before it checks a picture. Memory is just stubborn like that.
