A blackout had me rethinking font pairing
I was finishing a logo design when the power failed. I used my phone's flashlight to see the screen. In that odd glow, two fonts I never liked together looked great. I kept the pair and now use it for cool designs. What a lucky accident!

Oh totally! I once picked a font for a personal project at like 3am when I was half asleep. The next morning I was ready to change it, but in the normal daylight it just worked perfectly with the other one I was using. It was some wacky decorative font paired with a really simple sans serif. I never would have tried it on purpose, but now it's my go-to for invites!
