My color printer went completely haywire on a big job yesterday

It started spitting out these wild magenta streaks on every page, totally ruining a 50-piece batch of event flyers. I had to switch to a backup machine and redo the whole thing from scratch. Anyone know a good fix for a clogged print head on an Epson 8550?

Try the built-in head cleaning utility first.

Check if that actually works for most people. Honestly, the built-in cleaners never seem to fix the real problem for me. What printer model are you even talking about?
