Question about a guest's comment on my lounge setup

A friend crashed on my sofa bed last weekend and said the reading lamp was way too bright for trying to sleep. I swapped the bulb for a 40-watt soft white one, and it's way better now. Anyone have a good dimmer switch they like for floor lamps?

Honestly seems like a weird thing to complain about. It's a lamp, just turn it off. Your friend could have also just rolled over.

My friend had a roommate who would leave the bathroom light on all night, and honestly @keith279, it drove her nuts trying to sleep.
