This tucked-away hot spring was amazing for my sore back... now I'm split on sharing it.
I found this natural hot spring off a rough trail last month... it really helped ease some old hiking aches. On one hand, keeping it quiet means it stays clean and empty for when I need it... on the other, friends with similar pains could benefit from knowing. I remember a canyon spot that got packed and loud after a blog post... it lost all the quiet charm. But maybe telling a few trusted people is fine... as long as they respect the place. Where do you stand on passing along these wellness finds... should they stay hidden or be shared? Honestly going back and forth on this...

What made you change your mind? I used to tell everyone about my favorite spots, thinking it was just friendly. Then I shared this perfect little beach cove, and the next time I went, there was trash everywhere and someone had a bluetooth speaker going full blast. It just killed the whole point of finding a quiet place. Now I keep those finds to myself, or maybe one close friend who I know will treat it right.

Your mention of the canyon spot getting packed after a blog post is so familiar. A friend showed a few people his hidden swimming hole, and within a month it was overrun with graffiti and broken glass. Some places just can't handle being shared.

There's a taco truck near me that used to be a quiet local secret. Soon as a food blogger tagged the location, the line is 45 minutes long and the whole vibe changed. It happens with everything now.
