Just realized I was looking at the Voynich Manuscript all wrong

For years, I thought it was a coded language. A secret message. Then I read a paper from a linguist at Yale last month. She argued it's not a language at all. It's probably glossolalia. Meaningless speech written down by someone with a mental break. The letter patterns prove it. That blew my mind. Has anyone else had a theory about a famous mystery completely fall apart like that?

Yeah, that "glossolalia" thing is wild. My friend was obsessed with the zodiac killer ciphers, swore one was a map. Turned out to be some guy's grocery list, he was so bummed lol.

Wait, did you see the part about how it's not about language at all? That blew my mind. It's like what jade226 said about the grocery list cipher, where we just see patterns that aren't there. Makes you wonder how much other stuff we hear and just force into making sense.
