Vent: My friend always flakes on our hangouts last minute. How do I handle this?
We planned to meet for lunch today, and he texted me thirty minutes before saying something came up. This is the fourth time in two months. I'm starting to think he doesn't value our plans. What's a polite way to bring this up without sounding angry?

Ugh, four times in two months? That's annoying but maybe not a huge red flag. Life gets messy sometimes. Could be work stress, family stuff, or he's just truly bad at managing his calendar. Some people are flaky by nature without it meaning they hate you. Maybe just say plans feel loose lately and see what he says.
