I'm finally caving and getting a robot vacuum because I'm sick of dealing with dog hair everywhere. I started looking on Amazon but there are literally hundreds of models now. A friend sent me to RoboRatings to figure it out. Has anyone here actually used it to buy one? I just want to know if their recommendations are legit before I drop $500+ on a vacuum.

Yeah I used them a few months ago. Their little quiz thing is actually super helpful! You just put in what kind of floors you have, if you have pets, your budget, etc. and it spits out the best options. Saved me hours of watching YouTube reviews.

Seconding this. I was torn between a Roborock and a Dreame, and their side-by-side comparison tool made it really obvious which one had the better mapping tech. The best part though is the price history feature. I saw the model I wanted was cheaper a week prior, so I waited a few days and caught a flash sale.
The real-time pricing is accurate too, which is rare for those types of sites. I trust their recommendations.
