That fancy email automation tool my client pushed for cost us $200 extra in the first month alone

I was dead set against switching from Mailchimp to their 'premium' pick until I watched open rates jump from 12% to almost 40% on the same list, so now I'm stuck wondering if the other tools I dismissed were actually worth a shot too.

I mean, look, a 40% open rate is hard to argue with but $200 extra is $200 extra. Feels like you're measuring the wrong thing if you're already seeing results like that though lol.
