That retired agency owner in Dayton who wrote everything by hand

He told me he never once used a CRM in 30 years, just a spiral notebook and a landline, and his retention beat every digital shop in town. I still think about that whenever I'm chasing a client through three different software platforms, has anyone else met an old-timer like that?

Three weeks ago I watched a 72 year old property manager close a renewal by writing a date on a sticky note. He asked me to text him the new rate, then he put the note on his monitor and said the client would pay by Friday. The whole exchange took four minutes and I still cant figure out how he does it, but the check cleared that week.
