A chat with my barber totally flipped how I see AI art
Honestly, I was getting a haircut last Tuesday and my barber, Mike, asked if I'd ever used those AI image makers. I told him yeah, for goofy stuff mostly. He said he used Midjourney to design his new shop sign, and it only cost him $30 for the final graphic. That hit different because I always thought of it as just a toy, not a real tool for small business. Has anyone else had a moment where a normal person using AI changed your view on it?

My uncle tried using an AI logo maker for his food truck last year. The design looked generic and didn't connect with his brand at all. He ended up paying a local artist to redo it, which actually got customers talking.

Generic logos are a real problem with those AI tools. My friend's coffee shop had the same issue where their first logo looked like every other cafe in town. Getting something custom made just hits different for small businesses.
