inWatching a guy at the Oshkosh airshow fix a transponder with a paperclip made me rethink my whole kit
Worry about that paperclip trick. It works until it slips and shorts something you didn't mean to touch. I fried a good board doing something similar years ago. Now I carry a set of proper jumper wires with insulated clips. They cost a few bucks and prevent a very bad day. The old ways aren't always the best ways.

inA chat with my barber totally flipped how I see AI art
My uncle tried using an AI logo maker for his food truck last year. The design looked generic and didn't connect with his brand at all. He ended up paying a local artist to redo it, which actually got customers talking.

inSpent years thinking my mud was drying too fast because of the heat
My uncle swore his concrete was cracking because of cheap mix for two summers. The third year, I watched him pour and he wasn't wetting the ground first at all. Not sure a basic prep step really counts as a years-long mystery, you know?

inWhy does nobody talk about using a zip tie to fish a line through a tight drop?
I always thought those hacks were dumb but @hall.alex you're right, they actually work great.

inSo my laptop charger blew up in a Lisbon cafe and I had to work from a library for three days
Oof, that's rough. At least the library was an option, I guess? Hope the rest of the trip was better.
