Honestly I used to think AI was the way to go for resumes too. But after reading your post it makes total sense that companies can smell that generic AI stuff from a mile away. Did you find that your own writing just sounded more natural?

Yeah had the same realization. I rewrote mine to just sound like how I actually talk and suddenly got way more callbacks. My trick was reading each bullet point out loud if it sounded like something a robot would say I trashed it and started over. Also swapped out for actual numbers and results instead of vague fluff like "team player" or "detail oriented." That made the biggest difference honestly.
