Just realized the $20 silicone basket liners I bought are a total waste
I got them to make cleanup easier for things like frozen fries, but they just trap steam and make everything soggy. Has anyone found a decent use for these things, or should I just toss them?

Totally get the frustration, those liners are a letdown for anything needing crisp. What @gonzalez.rowan said about reheating is spot on, that's their only real job. I keep one around for warming up biscuits or rolls, stuff you just need hot without turning into a rock. For fries or anything frozen you want crispy, skip the liner completely. The basket by itself lets the hot air move right and actually makes things crunchy. Tossed my other liners out after they ruined a batch of tater tots.

Yeah, that pizza trick is solid. I've also used mine for toasting things like leftover biscuits or garlic bread in the air fryer, anything you want to warm without getting blasted by direct heat. They're kind of useless for anything you want crispy, but for keeping stuff from drying out while it heats through, they work okay. I'd say keep them for that specific reheating job before you throw them out.
