Used to think stud finders were all the same til I tried a Franklin at a job site near Hamilton

And that Franklin unit, man, it's a total game changer for sure. I had the exact same experience, I was using one of those little magnetic blocks for years and just thought I was bad at finding studs. Then I borrowed a friends 710 and found a surprise junction box behind some old plaster in my own house (which was terrifying, honestly). It's brutal admitting you've been working harder not smarter for so long.

Just realized my old router was a security risk after a chat with a friend

I actually did the same thing last year with Xfinity. Their rental fee was like $15 a month so I bought my own modem and router from Best Buy for around $150 and it paid for itself in less than a year. I got a Netgear CM600 for the modem and a TP-Link AX1800 for wifi, never had a dropout since. The wifi 6 support really made a difference for my gaming setup, my old wifi 5 router used to stutter every time someone started streaming.

My air fryer basket handle snapped off last night

Cosori actually moved a lot of their older model info to a different site last year. I had to dig through their support page to find it. Might be worth checking before you order anything else.

That moment I heard a blind woman explain why she hates those beeping crosswalks

Four crosswalk buttons near my apartment make different sounds depending on the direction and honestly I never thought about it that hard. Like yeah the beeps are helpful for knowing when to go but the whole point of them existing in the first place was for blind people. I get what she's saying though, if you look at how they actually work in practice the design kinda assumes sighted people will use them as a secondary cue while blind folks rely on the tactile stuff and the environment. Feels like one of those internet debates where people get way too pressed about something that's mostly just a design quirk.

Hit 500 feet of brick in one day yesterday for the first time

That "not bad" from your foreman is pretty much the highest praise you get in this trade, so I'd take it. My first big number day was 480 feet on a retaining wall, and I remember my back screaming at me for two days after. There's something about hitting that milestone that makes all the blisters and sore knees feel worth it though.
