My aunt's Thanksgiving turkey disaster in Boise made me try air fryer wings and now I'm hooked
Last November I was at my aunt's place in Boise watching her deep fry a turkey in the garage and it took forever plus the whole house smelled like oil for 2 days. She ended up with dry meat and a grease stain on the driveway. So this year I said forget it and did wings in my air fryer instead. 400 degrees for 22 minutes, flipped halfway, and they came out crispy with zero mess. Has anyone else ditched the deep fryer for holidays after a bad experience?
That grease stain on the driveway is the worst part, that stuff never comes out. 400 for 22 mins is pretty much my go to now too, just dry the wings good first or they steam instead of crisp up.
