Raccoon family moved into a client's attic on day 2 of install

I was running a full system at a house in Clifton and had the keypad up, sensors on every door, and was about 2 hours from being done. Then the homeowner's dog started barking at the attic access panel, and sure enough something was scratching up there. I popped the panel and a momma raccoon hissed at me from between the trusses, right where I had planned to run the main wire for the motion detectors. I ended up using a different route through the hallway closet, added a couple of extra mounting brackets for the wire, and finished 40 minutes late but got the job done. Has anyone else had to reroute because of critters getting into the walls or attic?

Lol I feel this so hard. One time I had a squirrel basically do the same thing, except it chewed through my wire before I even got to the attic. Ended up patching it with duct tape and praying. Momma raccoon staring you down is way scarier than my situation though, I'd have just apologized and left.
