Hot take: Spending $80 on that limited edition anime box set was a total waste for me.

Everyone said the extra art cards and commentary were worth it, but I watched it once and it's just collected dust for a year. Anyone else feel like special editions are overrated?

Yeah, that "collected dust" part is so real. My buddy bought a crazy expensive collector's game that came with a statue, and the thing just sits in its box in his closet. He admits he just wanted to own the fancy thing for a week.

My brother spent like 300 bucks on a special edition helmet that's still sealed in plastic. I totally get that feeling of just wanting to have it for a minute.
