Just realized most mecha anime reuse the same three explosion sound effects

Was watching Gundam and a blast sounded exactly like the one from Evangelion and Code Geass. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just hearing things?

Tbh I noticed this too and now I can't unhear it, which is rough when my brain starts playing the same explosion sound during my microwave beeping.

idk @white.grant i mean, it's just sound effects in a cartoon, not exactly a huge conspiracy or anything. maybe it's just me but i never really thought about it that hard.
