Why does nobody bring up the sub vs dub thing until you're 12 episodes in
I was at a friend's place in Tulsa last month and mentioned I'd started Frieren with subs, and he said he quit after 4 episodes because reading while watching gave him a headache. That got me thinking about how most people pick a side in their first year and never switch, when the real answer might just depend on the show, like comedies where the joke timing gets lost when you're reading. Do you switch between sub and dub depending on the genre, or do you stick with one for everything?
