Dropped $150 on a universal fridge compressor and it was junk out of the box
Went cheap trying to save a customer some cash on a Frigidaire top-freezer in Phoenix, and that thing lasted maybe 20 minutes before it seized up completely. Anyone else have better luck with specific compressor brands or should I just always go OEM from now on?

Saw a video about this exact thing last week actually. Some guy got struck by lightning a second time after thinking he was safe in his car. The odds of getting hit once are already something like one in a million, but getting a second strike is almost unheard of. Twenty minutes is just INSANE though. Makes you wonder if some people have a target on their back from the universe or something.
