Update: I was on a call for a fridge that wouldn't cool, and the fix was in the garage

Got a call for a fridge not cooling in a house in Phoenix. Checked the usual stuff, compressor, fans, thermistor, all seemed fine. The customer mentioned they had just moved in and the fridge was in the garage for a few days before they brought it inside. I went out to the garage to check the old spot and saw a huge pile of dust bunnies and lint behind where the fridge had been sitting. The condenser coils were completely clogged from sitting on that dirty garage floor. A quick vacuum with my Ridgid shop vac and the fridge started cooling normally within an hour. I always check the installation environment now, not just the appliance itself. Has anyone else had a weird location cause a simple fix they almost missed?

Ever check the garage first? @uma295 gets it.

Wait, a bird's nest in the dryer vent?

My neighbor's dryer stopped heating because a bird's nest blocked the vent pipe outside.
