inMy old teacher told me to never blow a bubble on the first gather
Learn the expensive way, that's always the best teacher. Bet you won't skip that step again.

inShowerthought: The week my town had two of the same street sign
What gets me is how it messes with trust. You see the same wrong info on three different websites or in two different stores, and you start to doubt your own memory. It's not just a typo anymore, it feels like reality itself got duplicated wrong. Makes you wonder what else we all just accept as true because it was pasted everywhere.

inI finally let myself check my phone right after waking up
That "quiet minute of just waking up" is so key. I started leaving my phone in another room overnight, kind of like what @matthewjenkins said about his friend, and it really helped me start the day for myself.

inMy sister insisted I watch 'The Bear' in one sitting, and after ignoring her for months, I finally did it and now I'm mad I waited so long.
That show gave me kitchen nightmares for a week, lol.

inTried a new 8 inch cutter head on the old dredge in Mobile Bay versus the standard 6 inch, the difference in material moved was huge.
Sounds good until you have to pay for it. Bigger gear means bigger fuel bills, bigger repair costs, and a whole new set of headaches. That extra material moved comes straight out of your pocket before it ever goes into the bank. Sometimes the standard tool is the right tool because it keeps the job in the black.
