Been there, done that, got the burnt pot to prove it. My first time making beans from scratch I walked away to fold laundry and came back to a kitchen full of smoke and beans glued to the bottom like cement. My husband still brings it up at every family dinner, which is just rude if you ask me. Now I set a timer on my phone every 20 minutes and I still get up to check anyway. That water line sneaks up on you faster than you'd think, especially once they start bubbling. Lesson learned the hard way, same as you.

Man, been there. I had a similar thing happen with my old Firebird and it drove me nuts. What finally worked for me was pulling the carpet back and putting those little moisture absorber tubs in the footwells, plus I stopped leaving the vents cracked and instead just opened the doors for an hour on dry days once a month. I also stuck a cheap hygrometer in there so I could actually see the humidity instead of guessing. Turns out the vents were letting in more damp air than they were letting out. Check under your seats too, the foam holds water forever.
