Forum answers used to mean something, now it's just noise
Folks say instant help is better. I disagree. Remember when a reply took days but was worth the wait.

Four days for a forum answer in 2023 changed my mind about quick fixes.

That "worth the wait" thing is real. My friend had a weird router bug last year, posted on an old forum. Took four days for a reply. Some retired network engineer wrote a full page, solved it perfectly. Nothing today comes close to that depth.
