Had to pick between a weekend trip to the lake or fixing my fence. I chose the fence.
Last month my wife and I had a chance to go to Table Rock Lake for a long weekend, but our back fence was falling over after a storm. I ended up spending Saturday and Sunday digging post holes and setting new ones. Cost me about $250 in materials and a lot of sweat. But now I'm wondering if I should have just gone on the trip and dealt with the fence later. Has anyone else had to make a call like this between fun and home stuff?

Man that's a tough one but you'll be grateful for that fence every day, trips are just memories.

Last summer I poured concrete for my own fence instead of going to the beach and it was totally worth it.
