My grocery bill dropped $33 a week after I started prepping

I used to grab whatever looked good at the Kroger in Cleveland, toss it in the cart, and then watch half of it rot by Thursday. Last month I tried prepping every Sunday with one big chicken bake and rice portioning, just to save time after work. The before and after is wild, my fridge used to be a graveyard of half-used jars and sad lettuce, now it's just three containers and some fruit. That shift happened in about 14 days, once I got the hang of cooking two proteins at once and freezing half. The real kicker is I spend $62 a week now instead of $95, and I'm not throwing anything out. Has anyone else noticed their grocery bill drop this fast, or did I just get lucky with chicken sales?
