Watched my buddy's YouTube channel go from 200 to 5k subs in 3 months after he started using TubeBuddy for keyword research.

Has anyone else seen a jump like that from just focusing on SEO tools, or is there more to it?

Wow, so the secret sauce is just to stop talking to your viewers, huh?

Honestly, that's wild growth. My cousin did something similar with a different tool, but he also completely changed his video style at the same time. He started doing those quick, text-overlay tutorials instead of just talking to the camera. It's hard to say if it was the keywords or just making stuff people actually want to watch now.

My friend's cooking channel jumped from 200 to 5,000 subscribers in a month after she switched to those silent, text-only recipe videos. It's exactly what you're saying, margaret99... the format change was the whole game. She was using the same basic ingredient keywords the whole time. It just seems like the platform's algorithm really pushes that fast, watch-without-sound style right now. People just scroll and absorb the info without any real effort. Makes you wonder if the old way of just talking to your audience is completely dead for growth.
