Noticed a huge gap in spray booth prep at a shop in Phoenix

Stopped by a buddy's shop in Phoenix last week to borrow his paint gun and saw how they prep their booth between jobs. They basically just blow it down with air and maybe wipe the floor once a day, but they never check the filters or the walls for overspray buildup. I pointed it out and the guy said they've been doing it that way for years and haven't had a problem. Now I'm wondering if I'm overthinking my own routine at my place, I vacuum the walls and change the intake filters every 20 or so jobs. Has anyone else seen shops that slack on this and still get clean finishes, or is it just a matter of time before they get a dusty job that comes back?
