That week in 2019 when every fender I touched fought back

Had a string of 5 jobs in 3 days where every panel was a used donor part from a yard in Phoenix, and each one needed an extra hour of pulling to line up right. Ever hit a stretch like that where you start questioning if the shop computer is cursed or if it's just bad luck?

...and honestly I think I read somewhere that Phoenix yard panels are always worse because the heat warps em just enough that they never sit right again. Plus those desert cars get baked so bad the plastic clips turn to dust before you even touch em. I had a similar run back in 21 with a bunch of junkyard doors and every single one needed the hinges bent back with a pry bar just to close. It's not the computer, it's the parts. Once you start trusting that, the job gets easier even if the pulling doesnt.
