I finally had a day where every bolt came off without a fight
Last Wednesday in Phoenix I was doing a full brake job on a 2012 F-150 that looked like it lived in a salt bath. Every single caliper bolt and rotor screw spun out by hand, no breaker bar or torch needed. Has anyone else had one of those weirdly perfect days where the truck just cooperates for no reason?

Man, I gotta say this sounds like one of those stories where I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Last year I had a Subaru Outback that I was prepping for new pads and rotors, and I swear every bolt came off clean too. Then I got to the last caliper bolt and it snapped clean off inside the bracket. Ruined my whole afternoon. So yeah, the universe might have just been lulling you into a false sense of security. I'd check those bolts again tomorrow just to be safe.

Those 2012 F-150s can be hit or miss with rust. I spent half a day last month on one where the bleeder screws were practically welded shut. You got lucky, and that's a good feeling. Don't question it, just enjoy the win while it lasts.
