Door seal gave out mid trip with a 2018 Civic from Atlanta to Dallas

I was hauling a 2018 Civic from Atlanta to Dallas last month for a client. About 4 hours in, I checked the load at a rest stop near Birmingham and found the rear passenger door seal had completely torn off. The car must have hit a big bump or something earlier that loosened it. I had to stop at a hardware store for some heavy duty tape to secure it until I could drop it off. Has anyone else had parts come loose on a car you were transporting?

Oh man, SAME thing happened to me with a Prius near Little Rock. SO annoying.

Wait... it happened to you with a Prius? Those things are usually built like tanks. I mean I've seen em hold up through everything but apparently door seals are a weak spot. I feel like that would've really ticked me off too, especially on a long haul like that. Did the tape hold up the whole way or did you have to redo it somewhere?
