I just mapped out all my trips and realized I've hiked over 500 miles in Washington's Olympic National Park alone.
That number hit me because it means I've basically walked from Seattle to Portland and back again, just on those foggy coastal and rainforest trails.

Man that's a crazy way to think about it. I've done a few of those coastal hikes and they're no joke, the elevation gain alone is brutal. Makes all that effort feel way more real when you put it in miles like that. Serious respect for the dedication.

Nah, you're hyping it up a bit. It's just walking uphill, people act like they summited Everest. @milesrobinson probably drives everywhere, so his odometer's got more street cred than any of us.
