That 4 day stretch on the John Muir Trail where everything just clicked, been chasing that feeling since
Back in 2019 I did the section from Tuolumne Meadows to Reds Meadow and hit perfect weather, no bugs, and ran into the same group of three guys at every camp who kept sharing their whiskey. My pack weighed 28 pounds and I felt like I could walk forever, which has never happened before or since. Anyone else have one trip where the trail just felt easy the whole way?
