After three years, a pair of bluebirds finally nested in my yard
I put up a specific bluebird house on the edge of my property back in 2021 and just checked it last week to see five perfect eggs. I guess they just needed the right spot to feel safe. Has anyone else had a long wait pay off like that with a particular bird?

I read that bluebirds can take a few years to settle on a nesting box location.

Patience with nature is its own reward, honestly. Watching them finally choose your spot feels like a quiet victory. That three year wait makes the eggs mean so much more.
