A Tuesday that felt like a month

We had three cars come in, all needing quarter panel work from the same icy patch on Main Street. The third one was a classic Mustang, and the owner wanted it perfect. Spent the entire afternoon just on the metal shaping for that one, trying to match the factory curve. Anyone else get those weird waves of the same exact damage?

Hot take: I thought the 'guest lounge' at my aunt's place was just a fancy name for the spare room with a weird lamp.

Found my old Game Boy Camera in a box of college stuff

I was cleaning out my garage last week and found a plastic tub labeled 'dorm room'. Inside, under a pile of notebooks, was my old clear purple Game Boy with the little camera printer docked on top. The batteries were totally dead, but I dug out some AAs and it actually powered on. The screen is so tiny and green, and I had about 30 pictures still on it from 2003, mostly blurry shots of my friends in our apartment. It's wild to think we used to carry this brick around to take pictures that were basically 4-color postage stamps. The thermal paper in the printer is all dried out now, so no more prints. Does anyone know a good way to get the pictures off the cartridge and onto a computer? I'd love to save those old shots.

I chose the butcher paper for a 14-pound packer, and it gave me the bark I wanted without drying out the flat, so has anyone else had a different result with foil in a similar humid climate?

The comic shop in my town used to be a quiet place for old guys to read the paper

I walked in last week and it was packed with people my age, maybe thirty of them, all talking about the new X-Men show. The owner, Dave, told me he started a 'New Reader Night' six months ago where he gives a quick talk on where to start with a different character. He said his Wednesday sales are up by almost half since he began. The whole vibe changed from a dusty backroom to a spot where people actually hang out and ask questions. He even has a little board now with staff picks for people who liked the movies. It made me think about how shops have to try harder now with everything being online. Honestly, I was wrong. I found my old 4th gen Nano in a box last month and the tactile scrolling through a huge library is still way faster than any touchscreen menu I've used. Anyone else have a gadget they wrote off that actually worked better?
