Got told my raised beds were too close together...
A master gardener at the local nursery said my 18 inch paths would make weeding a nightmare and I thought she was crazy. She was right... after just one season of squeezing in there I'm tearing out two beds and redoing the whole layout this fall. Anybody else had to redo their garden spacing after the first year?

The "master gardener" part hits close to home. I had a guy at the extension office tell me the same thing about 18 inch paths. I didn't listen either. After one season of that stupid layout I just yanked everything out and put in 3 foot paths. Now I can actually kneel down to pull weeds without my face in the next bed's tomato leaves. Pain in the butt but worth it.
