Guy down the street shouted at me for using pressure treated lumber on my raised beds
I was framing out a 4x8 raised bed last Saturday when this older fella walks over and starts yelling that the chemicals will leak into my veggies. He handed me a crumpled article from 2008 about cedar being the only safe option. Has anyone actually run into issues with pressure treated wood in garden beds?

Wait a guy just keeps a decade old article in his pocket to ambush people with?? Thats wild lmao. Pressure treated lumber has been reformulated for years now, pretty sure its fine for veggies.
