That 3AM deck collapse in my own yard after 6 months of work

I was out back in Spokane checking the stringer alignment with a level when the whole ledger pulled clean off the house, warped lumber and all, so now I'm redoing the anchor bolts with proper lag screws and asking if anyone else has dealt with a hidden rot issue behind the siding.
