Spent 3 days trying to fix my sourdough starter before realizing my tap water had too much chlorine

Finally switched to filtered water and it doubled in size within 12 hours has anyone else had water chemistry mess with their starter like that?

Yeah @tyler_hall9, bottled water saved mine too. Chlorine kills them slow.

Did I just spend two weeks wondering why my starter was acting dead when it was just my fancy tap water killing it? Switched to bottled water and it was like a whole different creature woke up, I felt stupid for not trying that first. Pretty sure my starter is more high maintenance than I am at this point.
