Man, that hits home. The shop I went to growing up had this old guy who did everything by feel with a straight razor and a strop hanging off the chair, and now the place that took over the spot has like four TVs and a bunch of cordless stuff I can't even name. I get that speed and clean lines matter for the business side of things, but you lose something when the tools stop needing a person to really know what they're doing.
