Still think spending $80 on a single barber brush is stupid
Bought a genuine boar bristle brush from a small shop in Austin last year. Everyone told me I was wasting money. Six months in and it still has zero shedding. My clients notice the difference in how their hair lays down after a cut. Anyone else spend real money on one tool that actually pays off?

Eighty bucks for a brush? That's just silly.

Oh man, but here's the thing nobody's talking about - a cheap brush sheds like crazy and then you're picking bristles out of your paint job while it's wet. Ive had dollar store brushes leave streaks so bad I had to sand everything down and start over. That eighty bucks starts looking pretty reasonable when you factor in not having to redo a whole afternoon of work. Plus a good brush holds way more paint so you're dipping less often and the finish is actually smooth. It's like buying a cheap ladder that wobbles versus a solid one that keeps you safe.
