Switched from spray to a hot towel for neck lines, never going back

Used to just blast the back of the neck with the spray bottle and a razor comb. Three weeks ago a client told me her regular barber uses a steamed towel first, and now I do that every time. Anyone else find a simple trick that cut your cleanup time in half?

A buddy of mine does landscaping and tried the hot towel trick on himself. Said it softened the stubble so much he cut five minutes off his morning routine.

You ever try using a hot towel on yourself like @emmam32 mentioned? I do the same thing now after a friend who cuts hair at home showed me. I heat a damp hand towel in the microwave for 30 seconds, wrap it around my face for a minute before shaving, and it cuts down on irritation and cleanup way more than I expected. The steam really works.
