Had to choose between finishing The Bear or starting Severance last weekend

I only had time for one show before my trip. The Bear was intense and loud, but I was hooked. Severance seemed like a slow burn mystery. I picked Severance and binged it all in one night, that cliffhanger ending was crazy. Did I make the right call, or should I have stuck with The Bear first?

Paid for a 'lifetime' VPN subscription that vanished after 8 months

I saw an ad for a service called SecureTunnelPro offering a one-time $75 payment for a lifetime VPN. Figured it was a deal, but their website just went offline last month with no warning. I mean, I should have known it was too good to be true, but it looked legit at the time. Has anyone else had a VPN service just disappear like that, and what do you look for to avoid scams?

Man, that's the worst. It feels like every time a tool gets "upgraded" it just gets more aggressive. What's the point of a sharper blade if it leaves a mark like that?

Spent two days on a simple facing cut because my old post processor was feeding wrong

Honestly that boss nailed it with "payroll for existing." Might as well just have a chair warm the seat and save everyone the trouble. The real joke is we have to act busy to make it look like the time mattered. Feels like the whole point is just to fill hours, not actually do anything. What a way to spend a day.
