Dollar store super glue is a total scam

Bought 3 packs of super glue from Dollar Tree for $1.25 each and every single tube either wouldn't open or dried up solid after one use. Lost like $3.75 total but honestly the frustration of trying to glue a broken mug back together for 20 minutes was worse. Anyone else get burned by cheap adhesives here?

Lost like $3.75 total" - man I felt that in my soul. That's not just pocket change, that's almost four whole dollars you could've spent on something that actually works. I've been there with Dollar Tree glue before and it's honestly impressive how they manage to make glue that's less sticky than water. The tubes are always either sealed shut like Fort Knox or dried out before you even get the cap off. I swear they must be selling expired stock from the 90s or something.
