Hit 200 thrift store finds this year, my record was a $3 bird cage
I started counting every single thing I bought used in January, just a silly personal challenge. Yesterday I hit 200 items, and the weirdest one was a vintage brass bird cage for $3 that I still haven't figured out what to do with. Anyone else ever tally up their finds for a year? What's your weirdest dollar store or thrift purchase that you actually kept?

Oh wow, 200 is wild! I tried that once back in 2019 and gave up counting around 47 when my wife asked why I needed a third lava lamp. That bird cage is a keeper though, even if it just sits there looking cool. I once spent $2 on a wooden clock shaped like a cat that doesn't even work, but I hung it in the kitchen anyway. There's something about weird thrift stuff that just makes you smile every time you see it.
